Yarm-based Personal Coaching
Hi and welcome to Yarm ADHD Assessment Support Space (YAASS) I'm Donna and established this practice to provide specialist support and Person-centred coaching for adults and children, for overall better wellbeing and mental health. I recognise the waiting lists for an ADHD assessment and support in the area, to be between two to 8 years. I believe in early intervention and set up YAASS to offer people a variety of options to better understand themselves.
I served in Armed Forces, Queen Alexandra's Royal Army Nursing Corps, my personal experiences of poor mental health, neurodiversity and many years of training have equipped me with the skills, empathy and understanding to offer you specialist services and empathise with the frustrations and difficulties of waiting for the right support.
I'm an accredited counsellor, EMDR, CBT therapist, ADHD coach and specialist ADHD diagnostic assessor, also hold psychology qualifications, combined skillsets and knowledge allows me to offer assessments, unique insights and strategies to support your neurodiversity. I also develop and deliver training and offer ADHD awareness to companies this helps them strategies in understanding and better support for their employees and volunteers.
I understand the complexities surrounding ADHD, having witnessed first hand the challenges and triumphs that come with it. My mission is to create a safe environment where you can unmask, be your "self", explore your potential and develop effective coping strategies. Learn to trust yourself, enhance your overall well-being and mental health.
With a commitment to professional excellence, I am proud to be a clinical member of the ADHD Global Network. Here in Yarm, I offer comprehensive assessments, therapy sessions and personalised coaching that focus on your needs. All sessions are client led, use of whiteboards and sometimes creativity.
Whether you're seeking help for yourself or a loved one, my goal is to empower you with the tools and support necessary to thrive. As I work towards CQC registration, you can trust that you are receiving a service that adheres to the highest standards of care and professionalism.
The services offered can be accessed in our office, or outdoors through nature based activities such as bushcraft, kayak counselling, EMDR in my woodland space, walk and talk or archery ( I am also an instructor)
